Baseball / Softball Coaches

Congratulations to all of our spring baseball & softball high school coaches.

Softball Coach Glenn McCoy of Copley had another stellar season under the fifth-year varsity coach. The Indians captured the program's second straight Suburban League title before having their season end in the District finals. McCoy has compiled a 101-28 record at Copley (184-44 overall).

Baseball Coach Steve Wright of Buckeye finished his first year at the helm, leading the Bucks to an 18-11 record.  Buckeye won their first playoff game in 7 years and reached the Districts for the first time in 17 years.  The 18 wins were the most in 35 years at Buckeye.

Softball Coach Corey Bernard of Medina took over the JV program in 2012 and led them to a 17-6 record.  She was also an assistant coach for the Varsity Bees team during its playoff run to the state semi-finals.

Coach Brian Shannon took over the Buckeye freshman program and was an assistant for the varsity team this year for the Bucks.

Coach Megan Bricker finished her fourth year at Copley as an assistant Varsity coach.

Pinnacle Sports is privileged to have such great coaches on its staff!
